Hi!

My name is Zahra and I'm a career coach!

When working with individuals to explore who they are and design their unique career paths, I prioritize creativity, somebodiness, and compassion. I encourage my students to express themselves creatively and to value their unique qualities. I strive to treat everyone with respect and dignity, and I design workshops that promote the same respect and dignity among students for themselves and others. I urge students to approach their self-development journey with compassion, acknowledging that this path is often filled with obstacles and challenges before revealing its hidden rewards.

I'm an explorer!

I’m a career coach working with the Baltimore Career Coaching Initiative (BCCI). Over the past 10 years, I’ve held various roles, including university instructor, Exploratory advisor, career/internship advisor, counseling supervisor intern, student government leader, journal editor, and event coordinator. However, above all these titles, I identify as an explorer.

Below, you’ll find my CV, which provides a more detailed explanation of my past and current explorations.

Know Thyself!

Career coaching begins with delving deeper into ourselves and understanding who we are. When we identify our core interests, strengths, preferences, personality types, and values, career choices become clearer.

Part of identifying suitable career choices, including high school and college/university options, involves participating in extracurricular activities related to your interests and engaging in various opportunities.
